Hollis-Chang Couple Wed

James Efrem Hollis and Victoria (Jia-Yuan) Chang were united married at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in an outdoor ceremony at Le Meridian Resort in Taipei, Taiwan. Pastor Emeritus John Mason of High Point officiated.
The groom is the son of Edmonia Holman Hollis and the late Robert “Bob” Hollis of Mocksville. He is a 1984 graduate of Davie County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution from Western Carolina University.
The bride earned a master’s degree in materials science from Taiwan Chen-Kung University and a master’s in business administration from the University of Florida in 2007.
They are employed by Corning Inc. and reside in Taipei.
The best men were the groom’s son, Kenyon D. Hollis of Horseheads, N.Y. and childhood friend, Bryon Mayfield of Mooresville.
