Judith Holliday Malpass, 82, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2024.

She was born Jan. 30, 1942 to the late Obie and Catherine Holliday in Montgomery, W.Va. She lived in that area for 10 years then lived in Florida for 29 years. She was employed in banking, real estate, and medical office work. She was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church in Advance. Things she loved were her Savior, Jesus Christ, spending time with her precious family, and church family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Malpass.

Survivors include: her son, Robert Alan Smith II (Vicky); 2 granddaughters, Sheena (Justin) Goode and Erika (Josh) Carlin; 4 great-grandchildren, Brody and Brooke Goode, and Chloe and Sydney Carlin; a sister, Betty Jean (Bill) Stanaland of Blairsville, Ga.; and one niece and one nephew and their families.

Judy will be buried next to her husband at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Yadkinville. There will be a graveside service officiated by Ronnie Craddock at 11 a.m. on Friday April 5 for her family and friends.
