Ms. Barbara Orrell Frye, 75, passed away Friday, Janu. 5, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

She was born in Forsyth County on Aug. 31, 1948 to the late Steve Franklin and Ruth Jones Orrell.

Ms. Frye graduated from Davie County High School in 1966 and retired from Hanesbrands with 46 years of service.  She was a member of Bethlehem Methodist Church.

Along with her parents, preceding her in death was her infant brother, Steve Dale Orrell and the father of her children, Jimmy Frye.

Surviving: a daughter, Jamie Frye; and a son, Steve Frye (Gail).

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 at Bethlehem Methodist Church with Pastor Noah La Coursiere officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the burial in the church fellowship hall.
