Hugh Elliott Partin Jr., 79, of Westworth Village, Texas passed away Sunday, Sept. 24, 2023 at home after battling Parkinson’s Disease. No matter the challenges he faced with Parkinson’s, he did so with a smile on his face.

Hugh was born Jan. 18, 1944 in Mosksville. He was a proud graduate of University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and a life-long Tar Heel fan. Hugh served in the U.S. Army as an Officer after graduating from UNC and was stationed in Panama City, Panama. After an honorable discharge from the Army, he moved back to North Carolina to start his career in banking and finance. He later moved to Texas where he met the love of his life, Lou. They married and moved to Estes Park, Colo. and later returned to Fort Worth, Texas.

He was a member of St. Johns Anglican Church, Fort Worth.

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh E. Partin Sr., and Edna Stanberry Partin.

Survivors: Wife, Lou Partin; children, Jason Partin and wife, Casey; grandchildren, Seth and wife, Dariana, Carter, Rylan and Garrett; and his brother, Mark Partin.
