They’re calling it a conversation on hunger and homelessness in the community.

But on Tuesday, Nov. 14, there will be free food (prepared and to take home), games and music from 5-7 p.m. at the Cooleemee Fire Department on Marginal Street.

“We do have people here in Davie County who are homeless, who are hungry,” said Karisa McDaniel, who is organizing the event. Any community agency that could help may set up a booth. Partners Health Management is one of the sponsors.

County commissioner Benita Finney will be on site, and the Blaze Band will perform.
