Holy Cross Lutheran Church is giving away bookbags filled with supplies to students in the area.

If your child needs a bookbag, please come by the church on Saturday, Aug. 26 beginning at 11 a.m. Bookbags will be available for grades K-12, as the supply lasts. Parents/guardians should bring their to the church parking lot and drive through to pick up a bookbag.

“We want every child to have the supplies they need to begin a positive new school year,” said Cynthia Sain. “We wish all students, teachers, and staff in our county an exciting, safe, and meaningful school year with lots of learning taking place.”

Holy Cross is at 1913 US 601 S. in Mocksville.
