On Sunday, March 19, Ijames Baptist Church held a baby dedication during worship service. Special music was presented by Wendi White as she sang “Believe for It.”

Deacon and Minister T.J. Woodfin was the guest speaker, encouraging all parents to teach their children about God. Nurture them and prepare them for the day they will make a decision to follow Christ as Savior and Lord, he said. One of the scriptures in the message was 1 Samuel 1 when Hannah prayed for a child, then gave young Samuel to the Lord for His service. Matthew and Michelle Mills dedicated both their children, Isaac and Brooklynn, to the Lord. Pastor Kestler Ruth and wife, Hannah dedicated their youngest child, Kaleb to the Lord.  Friends, relatives and church members attended. My thanks to Pam Branham for the article and photo.
