Mocksville resident Aaron Prillaman will join Irish musician Niamh Murray for a concert on Thursday, March 23 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Davidson-Davie Community College Rittling Conference Center in Thomasville.

Prillaman is a performer as well as a music instructor at the college.

Murray, singer/songwriter, is a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at the college, visiting from Ireland for the academic year. She had been named the “No. 1 to Watch” award winner in Ireland.

They will perform some of her original songs, traditional Irish music, and more modern favorites from U2, the Cranberries and the Corrs.

Prillaman will be featured on the guitar, and Murray on vocals, the piano and tin whistle.

Proceeds from ticket sales and a 50/50 raffle will go to study abroad scholarships for Davidson-Davie students. Tickets are $25 and include hors d’oeuvres and a “wee bit” of Guinness or wine. Visit https://davidsondaviefoundation.org/irish-music-night-tickets/.
