A South Carolina man was arrested last week for stealing a car in Asheville.

Solomon Roshad Wilburn, 43, of North Charleston, was arrested on March 2 on I-40 by Davie Sheriff’s Office deputies and N.C. Highway Patrol troopers.

The 2022 Chevrolet Malibu he was driving at 5:30 p.m. was reported stolen in Asheville earlier that same day.

He was taken into custody in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
