Mrs. Mary Frances Cope Spaugh, 83, of Mocksville, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born Sept. 3, 1939 in Davie County to the late Howard Taft and Mary Jane Forrest Cope.   Mrs. Spaugh was a member of Turrentine Baptist Church. She had retired from Lexington Furniture.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband of 54 years, Harvey Lee Spaugh; and numerous siblings.

She is survived by: her son, Tracy Scott Cope (Christy) of Mocksville.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 24 at Lambert Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Carlton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  The service will be available to view on the funeral home website.   Interment will be in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons.
