Hotdog Saturday at New Union is scheduled for Aug. 27.
Ijames Baptist Church will hold its annual homecoming service and covered dish meal Sunday, Aug. 14th. Sunday School will begin at 9:30 a.m., Worship Service at 10:30 am. Meal will follow in the fellowship hall after the service. Bring favorite foods. Revival services will be each evening at 7 Sunday-Wednesday, Aug. 14-17 with guest speaker, Evangelist Kenny Greenway. Everyone is welcome.
Trackers of Truth Bible Camp will be held each Friday evening in August from 6-8 p.m. at Liberty Wesleyan Church, open to ages kindergarten-5th grade. Call 336-492-3000.
Gaining Ground will perform at West Rowan Grill this Friday.
Each Tuesday evening, John and Lynn Powell have a jam session at their home on Fairfield Road south of Mocksville. A lot of the young musicians go to John for lessons plus go to the jams to gain more experience. I thank them for providing this avenue for our stars of tomorrow.
