County planners to discuss 2 rezoning requests

There will be a meeting of the Davie County Planning Board on Tuesday June 28 at 3 p.m. in the second floor Commissioners Room of the Davie County Administration Building, 123 S. Main St., Mocksville.
Miller Tree Service has applied to rezone approximately 6.77 acres from Residential Agricultural (R-A) to Highway Business (H-B). The properties are located at 327 and 337 Hillcrest Drive at Hillcrest Drive and NC 801 S., Advance. The properties are Davie County Tax Parcels F800000069 and F800000068.
Delmar McDaniel has applied to rezone approximately 2 acres from Residential 12 (R-12) to Highway Business (H-B). The properties are at 2519 and 2531 US 601 S., Mocksville, Davie County Tax Parcels L5140A0021 and L5140A0022.
