The following cases were disposed of during the April 4 session of Davie Superior Court. Presiding: Judge Jonathan Perry. Prosecuting: Rob Taylor, Ina Stanton and Alan Martin, assistant DAs.

– Tevin Jarod Anthony, 2 counts assault on a female, breaking/entering to terrorize/injure, discharging a weapon into an occupied property, misdemeanor larceny, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, dismissed per plea; felony possession of cocaine, deferred prosecution, 12 months probation, complete recommendations of substance abuse assessment, obtain mental health assessment, do not assault/threaten/harass victim, cost, $855 attorney fee, cases to be reviewed in 12 months.

– Donald Robert Bame III, felony probation violation out of county, probation terminated successfully.

– Garcia Victor Gutierrez, trafficking opium or heroin, reduced to attempted trafficking opium more than 4 and less than 14 grams, sentenced to 16 to 29 months, credit for 536 days, submit DNA sample, obtain substance abuse assessment, evidence ordered destroyed, cost, $600 lab fee; possession with intent to sell/deliver methamphetamine, sentenced to 6 to 17 months, suspended 24 months, probation begins at expiration of previous sentence, evidence ordered destroyed, cost; possession with intent to sell/deliver heroin, maintaining vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, dismissed.

– Isiah Ki Jana Huffin, 2 counts felony assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, reduced to misdemeanor assault on a government official, fleeing to elude arrest with a vehicle, sentenced to 6 to 17 months, suspended 24 months, submit DNA sample, stay in program already in, evidence ordered destroyed, cost.
