COVID number down to 22

The number of Davie residents diagnosed with COVID continues to decline – going from 56 on March 7 to 39 on March 11 to 22 on March 14, according to figures released by Davie Health & Human Services.

Two new hospitalizations were reported, and since the pandemic began, 123 Davie residents with the virus have died.

The health department reported Monday that 57 percent of county residents had been fully vaccinated against COVID.
