Miss Joann Bell Williams, 81, formerly of Ridge Road, Mocksville, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem after a long battle for several years with Alzheimer’s.
She was born on Nov. 5, 1940 in Davie County to the late Marvin Lester and Anna Bell Seamon Williams.
Joann was a graduate of Cool Springs High School and a member of Society Baptist Church in Statesville. She had been employed by CAP where she really enjoyed her work there and also enjoyed travelling to the beach and fishing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Lester Williams and Tommy Williams; and special friend, Ralph Lowdermilk.
Survivors include: her brother, Richard Williams (Elaine) of Advance; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service was conducted at Society Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kevin York officiating.
