Dozens of young people converged on Main Street in Mocksville on Nov. 12 for the Super Hero Sprint – a prelude to the next day’s 5K event for older runners.
Dressed in costume, the young runners were excited to be a part of a real race with spectators, and organizers hope it will instill a love of running and exercise in their future.
