Darrell Lee Perrell, 48, of Yadkinville, NC passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 at his home in Yadkin County.
Bubba, as he was so lovingly known as, was born on Jan. 1, 1973 in Wilkes, NC. He was the son of Betty Jane (Johnson) Perrell and the late Clifford Odell Perrell. In life, Bubba attended Davidson County Schools. Later, he began a career in construction as a roofer for 30 plus years. Bubba loved to do anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and four wheeling. When he wasn’t doing his favorite things outdoors he enjoyed watching his favorite racer, Daniel Hemric in NASCAR, watching the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL, and spending time with his grandson.
Darrell leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Betty Perrell; a son, Jacob Lowman (Sara Feldner) of Ohio; brothers, David Perrell of Kernersville, and Danny Odell Perrell of Mocksville; a sister, Tammy Killian of Rural Hall; a grandson, Lucas Gray Lowman; a nephew, Justin Keaton; nieces, Renay Perrell, Miranda Hutchins, and Kayla Perrell; a great-nephew, Wyatt Keaton; and a great-niece, Adelaide Keaton; who will all miss Bubba greatly.
A visitation for Bubba will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 23 from 5-5:30 p.m. at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville. A memorial service will follow visitation at 5:30 p.m., also at Davie Funeral Service of Mocksville.
