The Davie NAACP will have it’s annual Freedom Fund program on Saturday, Oct. 30 via Zoom at 6 p.m.
The Rev. Marcus L. Fairley, pastor of St. Luke Baptist Church, Salisbury, will be the guest speaker.
Fairley is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Charlotte, earning a bachelor’s degree in hospitality/hotel management he earned a Master of Divinity degree from Hood Theological Seminary Salisbury.
Fairley is actively involved in civic engagement and social justice. He serves as religious affairs chair for the Salisbury-Rowan Branch of the NAACP.
