Mrs. Terri Tester Benson, 60, died on Oct. 19, 2021, surrounded by her husband and children after many years of ongoing health issues.
She was a woman of strong faith, kindness, and possessed a love for her Lord. She never met a stranger and all that encountered her smile fell in love with her. Even though her health impeded her ability to do things, she made every moment count. Her family was everything, especially her three grandchildren, and this trait made her a remarkable wife, Mama, and Nana. She taught her children to love hard and always show kindness to others. For those who had the privilege of knowing her, if only briefly or a lifetime, each were forever changed by her love and kindness.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Joe and Judy Gobble; sister, Christie Gobble; and brother, Rodney Gobble, all of Mocksville.
Survivors: her husband, Wallace Benson of Mocksville; son, Travis (Jonathan) Tester of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughter, Brittani (James) Wilson of Advance; son, Robbie (Krystal) Benson; 2 grandsons, Caden Tester and Jayden Wilson; a granddaughter, Avery Wilson; sister, Donna (Ricky) Link of Lexington; and nephews Duran Link, Kyle Link, and Austen Gobble.
