Clarence Lloyd Hawks, 73, of Mt. Airy, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2021.
He was born Aug. 1, 1948 in Surry County to the late Carroll Gray Hawks Sr. and Christine Walker Hawks. He was a member of Lambsburg Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was also preceded in death by: a brother, Carroll Gray Hawks Jr.
Survivors: a daughter, Shanna Hawks Stoltz (Ethan); a granddaughter, Ava Lane Stoltz; brother, Ronald W. Hawks Sr. (Salena); special niece, Amanda Lukas (Roger); nephews, Andrew Hawks and Ronald W. Hawks Jr.; and the love of his life, Brenda Bailey.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The family invites friends to come by Lambert Funeral Home from 2-6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 24 to pay their respects.
