The Masonic Picnic is changing.

The annual picnic and get-together sponsored by Masonic lodges in Davie County will see changes for the 141st edition on Saturday.

It will include a food truck competition, cornhole tournament, music and games beginning at 1 p.m. at the picnic grounds, behind the Brock Building off North Main Street in Mocksville.

“We hope to make this tournament an annual event, but it will be determined on your participation, so come hungry,” said James Taylor, Master of Farmington Lodge 265. “Let’s make the picnic great again.”

Like always, monies raised will go to the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford.

Participating food trucks include Wicked Awesome, TOBO’s, Jason’s Italian Ice, 4Fosters Slushies, Funnel Cake Factory, Jacob & Mabry’s and Duck Donuts. Voting for the favorite ends at 6 p.m., but trucks will serve until the food is sold out.

A doubles cornhole tournament begins at 3 p.m. Register on site or early online via Facebook for the Farmington or Mocksville Masonic lodges. The fee is $20 per team, with the winners getting half of the money.

A DJ will provide music throughout the day, with SoundKraft with special guest Kyle Ketsdever performing at 7 p.m.
