Downtown Mocksville will be rocking Saturday night, Sept. 11 as Pound Cake takes center stage from 7- 10 p.m. in the quad near Restaurant 101.

This hometown straight-up rock and roll band captures the classic rock of the ’70s and ’80s including ACDC, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, and all of the best rockers of the time.

Presented unadorned by three guys with three instruments and three voices, Pound Cake strives to honor the original recordings and recreates them in the trio setting.

The performance is the final concert of the season for the free Concerts on the Square series sponsored by the Town of Mocksville.

Bring your lawn chairs. Enjoy downtown Mocksville restaurants, retail shops, and ice cream and gourmet coffee shops. No coolers are permitted.
