The Annual Yadkin-Davie 4-H Area Livestock Show will be Saturday, Aug. 14 at noon at Lone Hickory Arena, 1950 Bethel Church Road in Yadkinville.

Admission to the show is free.

“The Annual Yadkin-Davie 4-H Area Livestock Show is a great opportunity for local youth to showcase their animals as well as the knowledge they gain from the projects,” said Phil Rucker, livestock Cooperative Extension agent.

Youth from Davie, Yadkin and surrounding counties will exhibit their beef, sheep and goats for a chance to win championships, prizes and bragging rights.

“Please come out and support these youth,” Rucker said. “The concession stand will be open and cooking plenty of good things for you to enjoy.”
