Sarah Elizabeth Wiseman died on Friday, July 23, 2021 at her residence.

Born March 18, 1928 in Davie County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nannie Florence Gill Wiseman. She graduated from the Davie County Training School,and furthered her education at the LaMae Beauty College, Winston-Salem. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by: daughter, Nancy Lane; grandson, Brian Sullivan; brothers, John Thomas Wiseman, Calvin Wiseman and Robert Wiseman; and a sister, Nellie Freeman.

Survivors: a son, Reginald Lyons of the home; daughter, Patricia Sullivan of Walkertown; 5 grandchildren, Thomas Sullivan Jr., Vickie Lane, Stoney Wilder, Lamont Dewalt and Kelly Dewalt; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Jean Eaton of Mocksville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing was on Friday, July 30 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 31 at noon with visitation at 11:30 a.m. at Cedar Creek Baptist Church.
