Mr. William Carlton Bailey, 78, of Joyner Street, Cooleemee, died Monday, May 31, 2021 at his home.

He was born on Oct. 2, 1942 in Davie County to the late William Samuel and Myrtle Juanita Potts Bailey. Mr. Bailey enjoyed automobiles, motorcycles, and swings. He was a kind-hearted, selfless, and generous person, who loved helping others. He had a good sense of humor, was a perfectionist, and was a good role model to many people.

He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Bonnie and Betty.

Survivors: an uncle, Jerry Bailey; an aunt, Kathryn Wagner; a cousin, Claude Bailey (Biljana) and their daughter, Victoria.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 5,at No Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
