The N.C. Pesticide Board recently approved the following settlement agreements.
Settlements involved a case of improper herbicide application in Davie County.
Nutrien Ag of Statesville agreed to pay $1,500 after drift from an employee’s herbicide application damaged plants in a private residential garden near Mocksville. North Carolina law states that no person shall apply pesticides under such conditions that drift from pesticide particles or vapors results in adverse effects.
