Mrs. Kathleen Victoria Beck Barnhardt, 98, of Pinebrook School Road, Mocksville, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.

She was born on May 2, 1922 in Davie County to the late Jesse Boon and Lula Beatrice Grubb Beck. Mrs. Barnhardt was raised in the Jerusalem community and graduated from Cooleemee High School. She was a homemaker and helped her husband, Jesse, with the dairy farm for 26 years.  Mrs. Barnhardt was a member of Smith Grove United Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by: her husband, James William Barnhardt on Dec. 28, 1999; 5 sisters; and 3 brothers.

Survivors: her son, Larry Barnhardt of Mocksville; a grandson, Nicholas Barnhardt (Tori); 2 great-granddaughters, Cheyenne Barnhardt and Emmy Barnhardt; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 in Smith Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Darren Crotts officiating.  Friends may pay their respects at Eaton Funeral Home after 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
