Mrs. Sarah Louise Boger Jones, 95, of Bear Creek Church Road, Mocksville, died on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020, at Bermuda Commons in Advance.

Mrs. Jones was born on Oct. 19, 1924 in Davie County to the late George Malcus and Amanda Jane Dunn Boger. She enjoyed quilting, working in her flower gardens, and loved her grandchildren dearly.

Survivors: 5 children, Billy Ray Jones (Anne) of Salisbury, George Wayne Jones (Bert) of Alabama, Brenda Sue Jones of Mooresville, Sarah Jane Whitaker, and Andrew Clay Jones (Amy), all of Mocksville; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8 at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with W.B. Sharpe officiating.
