The following cases were disposed of during the December 12 session of Davie District Court. Presiding: Judge B. Carlton Terry. Prosecuting: Pearce Dougan and Annemarie Ernst, assistant DAs.

  • Lyn Ann Altman, speeding 100 in a 70, dismissed; reckless driving to endanger, $1,000, cost.
  • Jordan Alan Anderson, speeding 88 in a 70, reduced to improper equipment, cost.
  • Ashley Lynn Bale, violation of court order, dismissed, community service completed.
  • Ashley E. Brown, simple assault, state’s motion to continue denied, dismissed.
  • Kenneth Alexander Brown, misdemeanor probation violation, probation extended six months.

  • Jalyn Rose Chatmon, no operator’s license, hit/run leaving scene of property damage, dismissed.
  • James Donald Doby, III, two counts driving while license revoked DWI revocation, sentenced to 120 days, suspended 12 months, do not operate motor vehicle until licensed by DMV, $750, cost; speeding 32 in a 20, dismissed.
  • Gabriela Estrada, DWI, sentenced to two years, suspended 18 months, 30 days active, 30 days continuous alcohol monitoring/credit, credit for substance abuse assessment, surrender driver’s license, not operate motor vehicle until licensed by DMV, $500, cost; reckless driving to endanger, misdemeanor child abuse, dismissed. Appealed.
  • Michael David Foushee, driving while license revoked not DWI revocation, dismissed.
  • Christy Ann Frogge, simple assault, dismissed, state’s motion to continue denied.
  • Xin Guan, speeding 90 in a 70, reduced to 79 in a 70, $200, cost, $20 install fee.
