Ms. Linda Suzanne Overcash, 71, formerly of Cherry Street, Mocksville, died on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born June 25, 1948, in Iredell County to the late Fred Lee and Minnie Suzanna Overcash. Ms. Overcash enjoyed watching wrestling, UNC Tarheel basketball, NASCAR, and country music, particularly Elvis and Conway Twitty.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be missed by many.

She was also preceded in death by: 8 siblings, Richard Overcash, Larry Overcash, Billy Ray Overcash, Donald Overcash, Paul Overcash, Catherine Flemming, Viola Safriet, and Betty Jean Overcash.

Survivors: her son, Phillip Alexander Overcash of the home; 3 siblings, Jerry Overcash, Charles Overcash and Nancy Correll; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Eaton Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
