Spaghetti Dinner, Advance VFW Post 8719, 130 Feed Mill Rd., 5-7:30 p.m. Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, desserts, drinks, eat in or take out. Donations.

Saturday, Nov. 23

Community breakfast, Fulton Methodist, 7-10 a.m., 3689 NC 801 S., Advance. Bacon, sausage, tenderloin, countryham, eggs, hash browns, grits, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, beverages. Donations, a portion going to Parker Bailey expenses.

Lynne Prevette Memorial Singing, Chestnut Grove UMC, 3240 US 601 N., Mocksville. Covered dish meal at 5:30, singing featuring Freedom Way Quartet starts at 7. Proceeds to help local cancer patients.

Sunday, Nov. 24

Blue Holiday service for those experiencing grief, Blaise Baptist of Mocksville.

Homecoming, Mocksville Wesleyan, 307 Hospital St., 11 a.m. featuring banjoist Mona Jo & Friends. Thanksgiving dinner to follow.
