Charlie Daniel “Chuck” Morrow died after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia on Oct. 12, 2019.

He was born in the mountains of North Carolina and made his home across America. He was honored to serve his country through the U.S. Navy. After a stint with the Navy and UCLA, his career took him from heavy duty trucks and trailers to residential and commercial real estate. He was a lifelong staunch Republican, supporting their political stance at every turn. He enjoyed debating his “bleeding heart liberal” wife Sandy, carefully watching C Span and the UK Parliament. When not fine-tooth combing politics, he enjoyed anything Western, from John Wayne, Clint Eastwood movies to visiting Tombstone, Ariz. He enjoyed and was talented at playing golf and navigating the open water in one of his many boats. He was devoted to working out, reading, and dancing with women. Many people will miss his mischievous grin, infectious laughter and unbridled wit.

He was preceded in death by many relatives, friends and pets.

Survivors:  wife, Sandy; daughter, Sheila; son-in-law, Phil; 2 grandchildren, Chet and Mary; brother, Bruce; and numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

A celebration of life service will be held on Nov. 22 with burial at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Nov. 22.

Memorials: 932 Old US 70, Black Mountain, 28711, or bmc-foundation.org.
