Jones Olin Pardue, 83, of Yadkinville, died on Oct. 6, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born June 17, 1936 in Yadkin County, a son to the late Dollie Herman Pardue and Beulah Hall Pardue. He graduated from West Yadkin High School and married Grace Eskridge Pardue.

He was also preceded in death by: his wife, Grace; his brothers, Carlie and Bill Pardue; his sister, Geraldine Caudle; his brother-in-law, Jack Eskridge; and 3 grandchildren, Jennifer and Jill Woodward and Christopher Budd.

He worked as a trucker for many years. He was a member of Ijames Baptist Church, the Mocksville Moose Lodge, Masonic Lodge and the Ruritan Club.

Survivors: his son, Michael Pardue (Mary) of Charlotte; daughters, Sherry Woodward (Joe) of Jefferson, and Karen Swicegood (Todd) of Bermuda Run; sister-in-law, Linda Eudy (Mike) of Statesville; special friend and caregiver, Martha Ireland; 6 grandchildren, Matthew Woodward (Lissa), Jaclyn Matlock (Nick), Nathan, Jordan and Nicholas Budd and Alex Pardue; and a great-granddaughter, Grace Matlock.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 1-2 p.m. at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville. A funeral service will be held at 2, also at the Davie Chapel, with the Rev. Greg McQuinn officiating. Burial will follow at Ijames Baptist Church in Mocksville.
