Sheriff’s office, Cooleemee PD make drug arrests

As part of an ongoing investigation the Davie County Sheriff’s Office and Cooleemee Police Department conducted a traffic stop and executed a search warrant at 168 Grove St. in Cooleemee on Sept. 4.

Officers seized methamphetamine, marijuana, a firearm, scales, and numerous items used to store and introduce narcotics into the body. When searching the residence officers found evidence of narcotics being sold and used.

The following were charged:

• Miranda Dillard Head was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia (non-marijuana) and given a secure bond of $2,500.

• Deidre P Browning was charged with felony maintaining a place for controlled substances, possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia and given a secure bond of $5,000.

• Donald Ray Tutterow was charged with felony maintaining a place for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia (non-marijuana) and given a secure bond of $5,000.

• Jennifer Leigh Hellard was charged with felony maintaining a place for controlled substances, possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (non-marijuana), and possession of marijuana paraphernalia and given a secure bond of $20,000.

• Raymond Watson Hellard III was charged with felony maintaining a place for controlled substances, possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia (non-marijuana), and possession of marijuana paraphernalia and given a secure bond of $25,000.
