Get a little bit of country and a little bit of rock and roll as the Exit 180 Band takes the stage Saturday, Sept. 14 from 7-10 p.m. on the square in Downtown Mocksville.
Exit 180 Band was formed by a group of guys who had the same vision and purpose: play authentic rock, classic and southern rock as well as familiar country songs that people can sing and dance to.
The five-piece band includes many sounds from acoustic and electric guitars to keyboards and multi-part harmonies.
As stated on the band’s Facebook page, “We only play songs that our audience knows and recognizes easily. While a cover band, we don’t play the same old music that most bands play. We cover a wide range of artists and genres that appeals to all ages. We pride ourselves in playing at a level that allows our audience to be able to communicate with those around them while still being able to enjoy the music.”
Band members include: Josh Tenery, lead vocals and guitar; Joe Sullivan, lead guitar, vocals; Joel McCarson, guitar, vocals; Greg Mulholland, drums; and Mark Snow, bass guitar, vocals.
This performance is part of the free Concerts on the Square series sponsored by the Town of Mocksville. The final concert of the series will be Poundcake (rock) on Sept. 28.
