County to discuss rezoning requests

There will be a meeting of the Davie County Planning Board on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. in the second floor Commissioners Room of the Davie County Administration Building, 123 S. Main St., Mocksville.

Brian Properties applied to rezone 25.24 acres consisting of two tracts of land from Highway Business & Residential-20 Quality Design Overlay (HB QD-O & R-20 QD-O) to Industrial-3 Quality Design Overlay (I-3 QD-O). The properties are at 2663 US 158, parcels of the Davie County Tax Map F500000030 & F500000029.

Casey Bailey has applied to rezone 58 acres from Residential Agricultural (RA) to Industrial-4 (I4). The property is adjacent to 1162 Main Church Road and is Davie County Tax Map G40000000701.
