Mrs. Shirley Jean Myers “Nana” Beauchamp, 70, died from cardiac arrest on Saturday evening, Aug. 17, 2019 at home with her devoted husband of 54 years by her side.

She was born in Winston-Salem to Lonnie and Rachel Myers on April 14, 1949. After marrying the love of her life, Louie “Steve” Beauchamp at the age of 15, they raised 3 daughters. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, canning, going to the beach, camping, watching television and playing games on her tablet. She loved her children and grandbabies.

She is preceded in death by her brother, James Allen Myers.   

Survivors: her sisters, Annette Kane and Angela Moore; her husband, Louie “Steve” Beauchamp; daughters, Cindy Trivette, Christy Roels and Lori Brooks; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22 at Bailey’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Brandon Wolfe officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service.
