Fundraisers

Saturday, Aug. 10

Community breakfast, Farmington Methodist, 7-10 a.m., 1939 Farmington Rd., Mocksville. Pork tenderloin, sausage, gravy, eggs, grits, stewed apples, biscuits, mixed fruit, breakfast casserole, coffee, OJ. Proceeds to benefit Parker Bailey, Davie middle school student.

Grilled hotdogs, homemade ice cream, Oak Grove Methodist, 5-7 p.m. US 158, Mocksville. Donations accepted for local mission.

“Yee Haw” vacation Bible school, Ijames Baptist, 1-4 p.m., registration at 12:45. Ages 3-fifth grade. Fellowship meal, bouncy house, slide, sno-cones beginning at 4. All welcome.
