Charles Evan Crawford Jr., 74, of Advance, died on June 27, 2019 in Winston-Salem, while under the care of the K.B. Reynold’s Hospice House.

He was born Feb. 10, 1945 in Goldsboro, a son to the late Charles Evan Crawford Sr. and Eugenia Rollins Crawford. He graduated from Davie High School with the Class of 1963. In 1965, he married Linda Faye Bodenheimer.

He was also preceded in death by: his son, Christopher Shane Crawford; and his brother, Johnny Crawford.

He worked as a truck driver for Vulcan and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors: his wife of 54 years, Linda Faye Crawford; daughters, Tammy Lynn Crawford and Heather Renee Crawford, both of Advance; sister, Lynda Jean Wentz of Asheville; 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth Wright (Vaughn), Charlie Marie Colbert and Grace Lynn Roesch; and 2 great-grandchildren, Landon C. Wright and Jaelynn Wright.

Funeral services were private.
