– Miss Adrianna Rene Barber, 17, of Jericho Church Road, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 7, 2019.

Adrianna was the daughter of Martin Lee and Dreama Gaye Everman Barber. Adrianna was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Mocksville and loved Jesus. She was a rising senior at Davie County Early College High School in Mocksville and enjoyed working as a tutor and a hostess in the restaurant industry.

Adrianna was a beautiful, free spirited young lady who loved nature, books, and the beach. She volunteered with many local organizations and enjoyed serving others. Adrianna was a deep thinking, hardworking, determined, and loving person who never let grass grow underneath her feet. Adrianna was a loving, bright spirit who touched the lives of many people and will be forever missed.

Adrianna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glen Everman, Sherry Everman, and Russell Barber.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: her birth mother, Marissa Johnson; a sister, Kaylie Billings; 3 brothers, Adam Barber (Jessica), Jacob Barber, and Jared Barber, all of Mocksville; grandparents, Gwen Johnson, Derwood Johnson, Ann Barber, and Judy Rosser; a niece, Cora Barber; a nephew, Tate Barber; and a multitude of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Friday July 12, at The Farm at Oak Hill, 186 Kent Lane, Mocksville at 3 p.m. with Revs. Dana Fruits and Sandra Greene officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
