Mrs. Floy Louise Robbins Keaton, 92, of Huffman Road, Mocksville, died Saturday June 29, 2019, at Bermuda Commons in Advance.
She was born Feb. 19, 1927, in Wilkes County to the late Silas and Dora Hall Robbins. Mrs. Keaton was a loving, caring, and spiritual lady who loved her family and her church .
She was also preceded in death by: a son, Wiley “Buddy” Keaton Jr.; 3 sisters, Mary Seamon, Ina Ruth Phillips, and Laura Kimrey; and 5 brothers, Charlie, Dwight, S.K., Carl, and Kenny Robbins.
Survivors: 4 children, Carolyn Hoots of Yadkinville, Gary Keaton, Betty Furr (Paul), and Tommy Keaton, all of Mocksville; 4 grandchildren, Barbara Boger (Scott), Mark Cable (Angie), Paul Cable (Tabitha), and Jason Keaton (Amanda); 7 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3 at Trinity Baptist Church with Dr. Darrell Cox officiating. Burial followed in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday July 2 at Eaton Funeral Home.
