Nikiea Eintue “Keeda” Williams died unexpectedly on June 16, 2019, at her home in High Poin.

She was born Jan. 28, 1976, in Staten Island, N.Y. She was the daughter of Charles Williams and Toni Pelote. She graduated from public school in New York and worked in the fast food industry. She had a kind and gentle spirit, who lit up any room she entered. Her laughter could be heard from blocks away. She knew no strangers, and would give you the shirt off of her back. She had a profound love for music. Any genre was pleasing to her. However, old school hip hop and soulful R&B were her favorites. She also loved to travel, and would pack and go at any given moment. She was a mom to all of the youth in her community.  Her liveliness, sense of humor, and genuine love for all will be missed.

Survivors: her father, Charles Williams of New York; her mother, Toni M. Pelote of Mocksville; 2 sons, Kasean Williams and Chris Williams; 2 daughters, Nyenah (Teonce) Jones and Nyree Williams; 2 granddaughters, Ka’ myra Williams and Na’jel Williams; 3 brothers, Floyd Cody, Tony Cody, and Roy Pelote Jr.; 2 sisters, Charell Williams and Lagena Cody; 10 nieces; 9 nephews; a host of other relatives, extended family, and friends.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at 4 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home in Mocksville. Evangelist Mary Dow will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
