Melvia Frances Martinezdied on June 17, 2019 at her residence in Mocksville.

She was born on Feb. 16, 1952 in Davie County.  She was the daughter of the late Johnny and the late Rilla Gaines Cobb.  She attended Davie County Schools. She formerly lived in Cooleemee and later became a resident at Mock Place.

On June 17, she died at her residence. A private burial will take place at Palmetto Cemetery in Mocksville.
