Stuart Gartha Orren, 50, of Mocksville died on June 12, 2019 at his home.

He was born July 1, 1969 in Roanoke County, Va., a son to David Orren and the late Barbara Hudson. He graduated from Davie High School with the class of 1986. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1994-1998 where he achieved the rank of AE3. After his military service, he worked as a cook at Miller’s Restaurant for 22 years.

Surviveors: his father David Orren and his brother Anthony W. Orren, both of Mocksville.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18 at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville from 1-2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2, with Pastor Darrell Cox officiating. Burial will be at the Salisbury National Veterans Cemetery.
