Linda Jean Harrison (Kiger), 71, of Mocksville died on June 16, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born Feb. 6, 1948 in Davie County, a daughter to the late Thomas Kiger and Gladys Seats Kiger. She graduated from Davie County High School and in October of 1975 married Jackie Dean Harrison. She worked for Baker Furniture for 20 years and was a member of the Chestnut United Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by: her brother, Henry Kiger; sister, Barbara Allen; and grandson, Kyle Barneycastle.

Survivors: her husband of 43 years, Jackie Dean Harrison, daughter Brandy Harrison, and sons Jeff Barneycastle (Karla) and Dale Barneycastle, all of Mocksville, brother, DeWayne Kiger (Peggy) of Yadkinville; sisters, Katherine Matthews (Pete) and Patricia Allen, all of Mocksville, Ann Debusk (Sammy) of Winston-Salem, and Bessie Boggs of Yadkinville; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Walls (Courtney), Ryan Barneycastle (Miranda), Maggie Barneycastle, McKenzie Barneycastle, Jake Barneycastle and Madisyn Cockerham; 2 great-grandchildren, Karsyn Parks and Mayvin Walls; sister-in-law, Lou Kiger (wife of the late Henry Kiger); special friends Charlene Crotts and Kay Nelson; and a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19 at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville from 5-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 7l.
