Kenneth Ray Boger Sr., 68, of Clarendon, died on May 31, 2019 at Columbus Regional Hospital in Whiteville.

He was born Sept. 18, 1950 in Surry County, a son to the late Ralph Hoover Boger and Pearlie Mae Stanley Boger. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Malachi, and a brother, Dennis.

He worked as a laborer at Top Tobacco and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors: sons, Ralph Eli Boger, Jonathan Andrew Boger and Kenneth Ray Boger Jr. (Tammy); daughters, Sherry Mae Boger and Lacy Jean High; brother, Thomas Lee Boger; sisters, Elizabeth Hope Wilson (Gary), Darlene Chambers (Jim) and Susan Renee Lawson (Mike); 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4 from 11 a.m.-noon at Rock Spring Baptist Church in Harmony. A funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Jeff Folk officiating. Burial will be at the Rock Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.
