Ms. Connie Dell Wagner Andrews, 76, formerly of Mocksville, died Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

She was born Feb. 13, 1943 in Rowan County to the late Adam Odell and Mary Madolyn Haynes Wagner. In the 1960s, she had been crowned Miss Mocksville.   She enjoyed her job as a dental hygienist, and as owner and operator of Andrews Professional Products, where she made and sold dental jackets.

She was also preceded in death by: her grandparents, Emma and Milton Haynes; and an aunt, Polly Wagner.

Survivors: a brother, Doytt Wagner (Bea) of Mocksville; 2 nephews, Jerry Hodge and Tim Hodge; and several cousins.

A funeral service was conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Greg McEwen officiating. Burial followed in Rose Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
