Pamela Sue Boger, 64, of Mocksville, died on May 15, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born June 10, 1954 in Herlong, Calif., a daughter to the late Bobby R. Cheek and Dorothy Anderson Cheek. She graduated from Davie County High School with the class of 1972 and later married Robert Wayne Boger.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Wayneand her sister Barbara.

She worked as a registered nurse and cared for many people in her career. She held an associate’s degree in nursing. She attended Hillsdale United Methodist Church and served in the nursery and with Bible study.

Survivors: her son, John C. Boger (Whitney) of Mocksville; her daughter, Angela Boger Worley (Todd) of Asheboro; her brother, Ray Cheek (Monica) of Gastonia; her sister, Karen Johnson (Mark) of Statesville; and her 5 grandchildren, Kayla, Colton, Blake, Mason and Paisley.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 17 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Davie Funeral Service Chapel in Mocksville. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at the Eaton Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Gilbreath officiating.
