Come hungry and ready to have some fun for a good cause.

The annual Davie County Relay for Life opens at 6 p.m. Friday on the North Davie Middle School football field off Farmington Road. It lasts until midnight.

Walkers make their way around the track all night in memory, or in honor, of someone with cancer. Teams have booths with games and food. There will be music and more.

Cancer survivors will make their special walk. Luminaria will light up the track, all candles purchased in honor or memory of someone with cancer.

All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society and to help local cancer patients.
