Mrs. Josephine Claunette Smith Gregory, 75, of Advance, died on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at her home.

She was born Oct. 26, 1943 in Davie County to the late Joseph and Geneva Howell Smith. Mrs. Gregory was a homemaker and she enjoyed camping and loved her dog, Bucky.

She is also preceded in death by: her husband, David Franklin Gregory; and brothers, Donald Ogene Smith and Joe Smith Jr.

Survivors: 3 sisters, Christine Roberson, Pamela Purvis and Cherry Beaver (Gary); and many nieces, nephews and friends.
